  • Saturday, Sunday and holidays: Urgent, same day appointments only. These appointments will be at the Stonechurch Family Health Centre. Call 905-546-9885 to book an appointment; phone lines open at 9 a.m.

Urgent concerns

If you need assistance after hours or on holidays, we have an on-call physician available for urgent issues from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. After 10 p.m., you can call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 and speak to a registered nurse. They will provide guidance for all of your urgent health issues.

If you feel your health condition may be life-threatening, immediately call 911 for Emergency Medical Services.

Parking Update

The DBHSC surface parking lot is using the HonkMobile parking system for a trial period. Here’s what you need to know:

  • There are no changes to underground parking. Patients who use the underground parking garage at DBHSC can still receive discounted rates. Bring your parking slip to your appointment to validate it.
  • There are no discounted rates for the outdoor surface lot.
  • During the HonkMobile trial, gates to the surface lot will be kept open. However, you still need to pay for parking.
  • If you park in the surface lot, you must use the Honk app to pay. This app is available through honkmobile.com, Google Play or the Apple App Store.

McMaster Family Practice does not manage or control parking. If you have questions or need help, contact McMaster Parking Services at 905-525-9140 ext. 24232 or parking@mcmaster.ca. Additionally, there will be an attendant available onsite to assist you.

Parking, drop-off and public transit

Patient parking is available in an underground parking lot below the David Braley Health Sciences Centre. The entrance for the parking lot is off of Bay Street North.

We validate parking. Please bring your parking slip with you to your appointment. Parking is $3 per hour to a maximum of $8, and payment can be made with debit and credit.

Patient drop-off

If you do not require parking, there is a covered patient drop off available. The drop off zone is off of Bay Street North.

Public transit

Our clinic is close to several bus stops and the MacNab Street Bus Terminal.
